I didn't expect to like this style but really got in to the story, it actually was quite effective in telling the story. I loved it.
i usually like Lorna Landvik, I thought this one was a little cheesey. read it for book club, wouldn't recommend it.
I am usually a huge Lorna Landvik fan. Loved all her other books, but "Tis the Season" was one of the most boring books I have ever read. I was very disappointed when I was reading this. I hope she comes out with another good one soon. I haven't seen her write any books lately.
I have come to expect so much from Lorna Landvik's novels. This one, perhaps designed to capitalize on holidayu shopping, was a little fluffy, and lacked the significat depth of character or plot as usual. Certainly not worth a full price purchase. Please give us your best again Lorna!

I did not like this book. I thought it was silly.
Lorna Landvik is a GREAT author to read aloud with a friend. It was slow going to begin this book, but my listener and I struggled on, not being able to connect the characters in this unusual format, all emails. But we are so glad we persevered because we fell in love with Caro Dixon, just as we have with ALL her protagonists, and we await each new book of Lorna's, as we've read and loved them all.
